I put mine under the splashwell...easy to get to...leave some space under it...
height and location of your new pedistal seats(congratulations, by the way) can vary...generally you wanna be high for best visibility...you wanna be close enough to the helm that you're not havin' to REACH for the wheel, but leave enough room so you can also stand at the wheel... Good luck w/it...
