May be he got burnd out or spent all his extra cash building all those hoist and other things to hold the boat.

What if you do 1/2 the stringers first, then when done do the 2nd half, this way you never losing the support?

Cut the ends on lets say a 45* angle and when front is glassed, attach the rear angle on top of that. It really is the glass that hold the boat, wood is there just for the mold. and to attach things to.
