Default Fishing vs Work

Well, you know what they say about a bad day fishing compared to work.....

I took yesterday off and took my boys Kyle (9) and Cam (7) out on a fluke trip. *The fishing was very slow. *We were out from 7-noon and picked up some shorts here and there. *I thought I had a monster at one point but it turned out to be a foul hooked short that was spiralling up. *Finally in a 15 minute stretch we pick up 3 keepers including a double header for me and Kyle. *Kyle ended up with 2 keepers (more than Dad and his only 2 fish) including a 21" fish. *He wouldn't hold them by the gills so his more daring little brother held 2 of them.

Also caught an interesting fish that had a BIG chunk out of his side that had completely healed over.

It is short for Cameron but he prefers Cam.....I was a big Cam Neely fan back in his day (that's hockey for those who are asking "who?")......wife wouldn't go for naming him Larry Bird Whalen but she was OK with Cameron/Cam. :)
