Default Wilmington NC

Are any of you fellas in the Wilmington NC area? I am getting ready to move there and am going to be in need of some fishing buddies!

I hate to leave the Lowcountry but family comes first.

Hey Fish, welcome to the site if I haven't already said so.

I'm not from Wilmington - I'm actually bout 3.5 - 4 hours away but my wifes brother has lived down there for about 4 years now. I make my way down a couple times a year. He's about 30 and I'm 34. We both have families and kids so I guess we're in the "same boat" lol as you. ;)

That would be awesome to have some other people in the area to fish with!

So you got a V20? Or just a V20 admirer? How bout some details man?! :D

Good luck on your move and let me know when you get into town and we'll plan a trip!

Yep, I have a 1994 V20 hooked up with a custom T-top and electronics. Its a great boat. I've just got to finish chasin' some bugs out of the 175 Johnrude on the back. ;) The boat is in fantastic shape. Got it from my fiances uncle who only put 250 hours on it in 7 years.

I will be snapping some pics today for all the picture junkies out there and try and post them tonight or tomorrow. Gonna take it for a little late afternoon top water Trout/Redfish bite up the Wando river if the wind stays down.

I will be moving to Wilmington at the end of this month. So anytime you head down after that drop me an email and we will try and get together.

Roger that Fish! Sounds like a plan....I have a '94 as well but mines a V21 rather than a V20.

Shoot me an email or PM anytime.

Welcome to the site Fish. (Don't use Hammers Koolaid recipe ;))

I spend a lot of time at Holden Beach, we wonder up to Wilmington now and then.

There are a couple of guys here that live in/around Wilmington, I'm sure they will come by soon.

10-4, Thanks Fellas

Spare, you want near shore or inshore? I will give you a couple good ones but not the best! ;) The best ones will stay with me and my buddy Andy until we return for some local tournaments. If you are nice....... I might even tell you which tide is best in that given spot. Do you have a GPS?
