it's got a roomy no-frills layout , not much in the way gunnel hieght or deadrise.....looks to be a wet ride, just speculating, although I'd rather have a v20 CC any day.

hum i agree only see a nice trailer

motor of that brand those years = junk

boat looks like a rough & wet riding boat.

Was just looking at it on E-Bay myself. Reminds me of a skiff almost. Low v and low gunnels.

They actually ride pretty nice and dry for a 22' that can be pushed with low HP. A friend had one and we used to go 45 miles out in the gulf in it, but we did have to take it s,ow and steady to get the decent ride. At 16-18 knots was where it rode best. His also had a 140 SUZUKI on it, NEVER gave a moments trouble. Just curious if anybody else out there had any experience with them. But the gunnels are a little low though.

Hey skools; what problems did they have with those years? I don't have much experience with the 140 ZUKES other than the one(believe his was an 88).

lol *what trouble didn't they have. run from all suzuki outboards *built before 1997 they had major oiling issues just ask Bygracealone he had 2 sets of them both pairs went belly up.

I had 2 25HP ZUKES that were both older oil injected motors and both were completely trouble free. They used the same basic system that YAMAHA used, a MIKUNI style variable engine driven pump. Most up till 94-95 had individual oilers for each cylinder, and after that they oiled through the fuel line.

Just trying to figure out what you mean by the oil injection problem or engine problems, not trying to be argumentative. I guess I've just had good luck with em. But then again many people had good luck with EVINRUDES until the FICHTS came around. And there are many happy SUZUKI V6 2-stroke owners, and there are many with a distaste for them that suffered a burned cylinder @ under 100 hours.
