Great story!! I can tell that is one of those that you remember like it happened last night. Those are the ones to hang onto. Here's an idea for your next job, write down those 28 years worth of stories and sell em. People love a good cop story. Sounds like a pretty good retirement. We get the state retirement and a local suppliment. The suppliment lasts from retirement until you turn 62. Them you can start drawing your 401k. I don't know the percentages cause I'm not close enough to bother with it yet. COPS DON'T GET PAID FOR WHAT THEY DO, THEY GET PAID FOR WHAT THEY ARE WILLING TO DO.
