Yeah, the volume of those infloors was fine, but if I had one, I'd use it for storage and sit somethin' like this on top of it
 This is one I made, but several are available on the market like this one http://www.fishing-boating.com/livewellsystems/ I like these cause all ya need is 12 volts to operate...no plumbing, thru-hulls or over-transom hoses ;) ...
