Put in at sun-rise this mornin'...idlein' away from ramp... :PCRUNCH :P ....


outta gear, tilt up, back in gear...motor away from ROCKS only 2' deep in middle of large cove where 3 marker-bouys USED to be ::) ...guess DNR had to turn 'em back in to bouy-rental store ::) ...little ding on the prop, will file off, so all OK, but just a reminder (to me) of how BAD a sound that is :'( ...

I haven't hit any rocks yet but I'm thinking about naming my boat "MUD PUPPY". Running in the mud is a great way of getting that excess paint off your prop. ;D

Yeah: when I hit the mud there is nooooo problem getting the MFG max rpm's and quick too.

Muddy water is not a pretty site coming out of the pisser.
I am just glad that I was able to run cleanER water through
before the mud caked.

well all i have to say is hitting a sand bar here where i live is like sanding the paint off your hull. one time the water actually turned dark blue "the color of my bottom paint" :-/

Sounds like you dodged a bullet, Cap'n Crunch, er, Reel, getting off with only a ding. *I'm spoiled, with no rocks around here. *Only sandbars and oysterbeds, but those oysters can tear you up!
