Unless you are hoping for a repower, I would change the pump before I went out. JMO.

As far as the pressure on the hose, unless you have very low pressure, I would think a pump would be in order.

I had mine changed early this year, and the mechanic said I would not have gotten two more trips out of it. The impellar was coming off the hub. The trip before I took it, the pisser was flowing good. I saved the impellar to look at later and sure enough it was coming apart.

Try pushing a thin wire through the pisser, it may be clogged. If flow gets better you may have found your problem, if not, & the tube is clear, make the water pump repair. Good luck, Joe

You can also pull the hose off from the back side of the pisser where it goes thru the cowling, some times it gets something right there it can't pop out, run it with that off pointed out of the way
