well i will take $5000 which is a pretty good deal i think but I started taking the motor out already but being delayed as i need to find a gantry to use

IT'S FIXED!!! lol I found time to fix her and she's running great...new, plugs, cap, rotor, and a MobilOne oil change. Still for sale if anyone's interested...after taking her out again makes me appreciate it's smooth ride all the more especially after being out in friends' boats.

yeah not too bad...i have a little sense of security now because i know I did the work and know more about mercruisers than i ever have!

Turns out the motor mount sunk in the stringer and all is well now....engine in alignment, tune-up, oil change, etc, etc buy it up!!!
