I'm about 1hr from there, and I know what you mean about charcoal, it's by far the best for cooking. If you want to take it up another level(and I highly suggest you do) look into natural lump charcoal if you haven't already. It is pre-burned hardwood with no binders or filler or other crap in it, just pure carbon. I have been into the charcoal thing for years and have even become a dealer for a grill called Primo. They are expensive but totally awesome. Check them out online
