OK guys,
went fishing today

put 55 miles on the boat - 19.5 gallons of gas = 2.8 mpg - most of the travel was 43 mph
5000 rpm = 43 mph
5500 = 46 WOT
14.5X19 SS prop
full tank of gas - 2 people (~430 lbs)
The E-TEC is quieter than the Honda
Starts instantly (every time).
Love the motor.
