Thanks Seakindly. Bigshrimpin thanks for the info. Draining thru the sides will be a much simply mod than trying to get thru the transom. The scuppers in each corner of the cockpit seem to be where the water wants to run so tomorrow I will measure to see if I can attach a connection..(i.e. pvc glassed at each end or a hose) that will run back and down yet above the water line exiting each side. Hopefully the existing scuppers will have a nipple on the back side I can attach to. If so this will be a simple fix. Will share pics if I am successful. Also got a killer deal on recovering the red velour type fabric on the cabin cushions (5 in all) with marine grade white vinyl with piping on one side.
$250.00 for the material and labor which I felt was a great deal. Also found an engine cowling in great shape for $250.00 plus shipping.
