Default Thinking of a V-20 center console, modified

My wife keeps looking at 20-23' cc's with a head in the console. It would give the 4 of us more room to spread out. I guess it would be easier to fish 4 from a cc. Anybody think that with the right console that the V-20 could house a head in the cc such as the Seahunt 202, Sailfish, Seapro, and many others are doing now?

Thanks,

Airslot

that is a good question, i took the head out of my cuddy, and the wife was pissed, although she never wanted to carry it full when we got back to the dock. :P

Isn't the fuel tank below the console? Most I have seen have a dropped down deck to give more clearance when inside the console. Otherwise you would to have to have a pretty tall console.

Yep, its something that never gets used, but the family takes comfort in knowing its there. They don't fish that much, but the more I can get them on the boat, the more I can spend on the boat ;D

Thanks Franco, I thought of that. I don't know if it was always that way or not concerning fuel. I would think that you could put it under deck and open the deck under the console to creat space. Heck, as much as I've been working the last two years it don't matter. I retract that, the boat is my therapist. It's raining cats and dogs here now and that gives me too much time to think about the ideal fishing machine.

I'm pretty sure you could probably make a bucket fit on the boat somewhere! *;D *You really want dookie splashing around in there while you're fishing? *Just use a bucket and dump it over the side. *;) You can even buy or make you a nice little cushion for the top so your wife will still love you. ;D

Its not a guy thing thing but it is a very big deal with the little ladies.. . A friend of mine bought an abused 22ft Whaler guardian from the Navy auction down here, worked his a## off on it, put on twin opti max 225's , Imron paint etc etc and Wifie would not go out on it because no head..He lost a lot on it and bought a used 23 Parker with a small cuddy and even in rough weather she will go with him so it was worth it. I dont know what it is about toilets and women .I have one of those small blue water chemical types that I move from the v20 to the big boat for wifie when she comes along.. Frank

You missed my point - that's exactly why I don't have a head on my boat ;D

Just kidding!

Just an idea, but like Stinky cut his live well out in front of his console could you not make a seat enclosure for a porti potti and attach a privacy curtain to railing when called for. Billy Mac ;D
