I love anti seize!! But I think that is the wrong applacation.
That stuff stick and stays! and for that reason it will attract dirt and hold on to it!! May do more harm then good! Better off greaseing with marine grease!! And get one of these for your steering tube, replace the nut on then end with this and now from time to time you can add new grease to the tube!! http://www.boatersworld.com/product/358500676.htm
