OK - Got the Merc book out. Mine is the Merc 898 200hp 305cu (chevy block, I guess) (5.0L?).
It says 650-700 idle and 3800-4200 WOT. Next time I get out, I'll see what I can get out of her on the GPS. I don't remember what I did last last year (or 5 minutes ago!) but I think low 30s. I think at 2500 I'm running 21-22. I have no idea what size prop is on it ???- I'm still trying to find the brakes!
