I'd be leary if he tells you that you have to bite the head off after smooshing it with your foot ;D
Are the tarpon big in the river? If so, hope your tackle is up to it! Use HEAVY leader material. I hooked a couple tarpon outside Ponce Inlet...din't have them on long....and that was with 60lb. leader! Go 100lb. and when they jump, bow to the fish with your rod...and have fun! Cobia, tarpon, snook.....I'm missing FL now....but Stripers will be here soon:)
