Default cell phone signal

The signal at my new place really sux!

Anyone try those cheap amplifiers that stick on behind the battery of your cellphone? Do they actually work.

The "real" amplifiers are at least $250!

those things do nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They made millions on them things and they are worthless.

something a friend of mine did, and I don't know if you can?/ Is buy one of them external att. they mount on the window. One half on the outside and the other one on the inside. there is no connection to the phone itself.

My friend says he went from 1 bar to 3 bars and he can use it in his office at lease.

Perfect!!! Thanks guys! Looks like the one RAP posted is what I'm looking for, comes with 115v transformer. MJ, looks like yours are for cars only, I could be wrong though.

So glad I didn't order the big money one!

Sounds like RAP's would be good for the boat too!

In my case, I don't think so. It's a fairly new Motorola...and I'm living in the "sticks" now...yes, there are "sticks" in NY ;D
