It's been sitting in a guys garage covered up since the 80's. He was asking $1000, but there was issues with the compression in one cylinder. It tested out at 70psi. So I offered him $250 for the parts. He said "no way" and when I started walking away he changed his mind and told me to back up my truck and load it in. I've torn it apart last week and inspected the piston and cylinder. There was a small streak, but I couldn't catch my nail on it or anything, so I put her back together (after oiling everything). . . the compression mysteriously returned to 115 - 120psi in all 6 cylinders. I feel like I just won the lottery :) It's still got the original stickers on the starter and the switch boxes from 1978. :) He also gave me the engine stand too . . .
