If I had the flat stock like Cliff, I would have gone that way.

But I happened to have a ton of Starboard left over and went that way!

Both are great!! and strong!!

So what it comes down to is what look you going for and how much work you want to do.

Starboard will need more time to build. And looks more like all the new boats look like, the Alumin will need less work to make and looks more unique.

OK, I've never seen a pic of MJ or CB, but lemme guess....MJ on right, CB on left. I do remember hearing CB helped you on boat....am I right? :D

edit; just looked again and I guess who's holding the pulpit is a give away too.

Great pulpits guys, nice work!

Nice job Cliff, mine is teak I believe and sticks out four or five more inches than yours. It's a lot of fun when you are at that end during trailering, launching etc. if you forget its there.
So watch your head ;)

Hey MJ,
Is Starboard difficult to work with? I had the dimensions of your pulpit and was trying to compare with Cliff's. Both look great. Which anchor roller/mount did you use? Do you think the larger roller/mount would work alone? I think it is 22' long and 3' wide. Thanks, Barry
