I've looked at these boats quite a bit. *I almost bought one with a full transom ready for a bracket. *If you install a two stroke 150 you'll burn quite a bit of gas, however if you stick to a 130-135 hp motor you'll have a four cylinder rather than a v6 and better fuel economy and you won't have to worry about the additional weight. Just my $ .02.* *

thanks...well looks like i'm gonna try to fix the ole force myself.....if it dont work when i'm done i'll start looking to repower ....i really like the wellcraft hull...just i have about $5k in this boat now and to repower with a new motor would put a total of close to a new boat this size..so i'd have to find a really good used motor.
i backed away from that 115 yammy....the guy that was trying to sell it too me is a used boat seller and knew someone with this motor...when i ask how many hours it had..he said he didnt know...when i asked if it had been rebuilt..he didnt know...when i asked for the phone to the guy he knows that was selling it..he kept sidestepping me....i figured i didnt need a 3rd party to buy a used motor lol
