Hammer the big advantage to the Sea Drive from what I have been able to determine(as far as hanging a bracket) is they have a very small opening thru the full transom to install a sea drive. And they were very well sealed from the factory. Mine was closed up by a professional glass man and I cant even tell where the hole was and the transom is very dry and strong. They also have a large round baitwell in the floor where the I/O would normaly have been. From what other guys on this site have sent me photo wise the hole for a sea drive was approximatly 5" x 7" , enough for some controls etc. to fit thru. Some of the guys on this site have closed up I/O holes which were much larger and they look beautiful but for a no talent glass man like me that little hole would be a lot easier to do and that would be my first choice if I was going to do it. Of course if you are Skools or MJ or Stinky you could close up the Holland Tunnel and make it look good
