I wouldn't hesitate to mix up a little simple green and bleach mixture, spray it on with a bug sprayer, let it sit for a few. Come back on my hands and knees with a scrub brush and see what happens. On the trim motor. A buddy of mine removed one from an old force, disassembled, cleaned and reassembled, works great, you won't be out anything if it doesn't work. Just my .02 cents. BTW we would love to see some pics of your new ride. Scott
