Mac,
i don't know if you decided on a bracket yet but I just picked up a nice stainless steel bracket from Boatersworld (online) holds up to 115 lbs, has a 11 inch movement and a composite mounting plate. i picked this one because it adapts to the negative transom easily...hope to mount it this weekend after making a couple backing plates. brian
