one advantage of the older hulls is less weight due to no liner...w/70 gals fuel, heavy tandem trailer mine's 4600lbs. few years ago, added tie-down disc brakes on all 4 wheels and tow w/01 ford f-150 crew-cab w/5.4 litre motor...good stiff suspension lots of power, but of course will lose mph on steep hills of south carolina...installed goodyear marathon radials last year...i swear this trailer rolls down the road easier!

if i had the brakes to do over again, i'd look at kodiak...i think they make a heavier duty system
