THANK GOD FOR THAT OLD RULE !

well, with all this rain my wife wakes me this morning and tells me the basements flooded. great. gotta go pump the boat out, (took 15 minutes with two bilge pumps) pick up the baby from school and put in a new sceen door. so i go into the garage and find an old rule 1100 gph bilge pump from my old sea ray. fantastic. grab one of the batteries from the same old sea ray and stick the bad boy in the basement. been pumping since about two today and its just about maintaining a constant level. what a mess. shes gonna be running all night.

This is a good reminder that sometimes it pays to be a pack-rat.........(thought to self... "This thing still works, I aint throwin it away")! ;D
