* The cleat I installed was the port side aft. The reason it was kicking my a$$ was it was so hard to get to. I still have the port side saddle tank in, a rod holder and a downrigger mount all shoved back in the corner. I made some S.S. backing plates and had to line it up along with the washers and nuts all by "feel". Other than that ther's nothing to it. My boat came with 6 1/2" cleats that were chrome plated zink (quite rotten). The new ones are 6" S.S. They look a little small on the boat, but they should be plenty big enough for 3/8" mooring lines. Good Luck, Scott
