Default Out with the old, in with the new. AGAIN!!

Well last year at this very time I was looking for a Chevy pick up to take over for my beloved full size Blazer that was rusting away.

I could not find a Chevy that was in my price range or that looked sound.
So as a old Ford guy I thought I would try them again.

Which lead me to by a 1999 Ford F150 and I was happy about my buy!

But not for long in less then one year I added $1,000+ in repairs and it still needs $1,700 more!!
Well I have had it!

So with one week to go before my year was up I traded the **** box and have come back from the dark side and now own a Chevy!!

It is a 2002 Chevy Z71 4X4 6.0 Vortec engin Ext Cab with seating for 6. Has a 6 1/2 bed with a roll n lock cover.
I hope it will last me a long while!!

Whew!!! Nice truck. I've had three chevys and they never let me down. My current 95 just pulled my V20 14 hours down and back from the Florida Keys in scorching heat. It has 190,000 miles and runs great. Hey man whats with the spare tire just thrown on that swim platform? Have some respect for that V20. :D

Thanks guys!

Jaysea, I always wax my truck!! Thats about the only thing I always keep clean and well maintained!!

Vic, you are the 2nd person to mention the spare tire!! I just threw it there to get it out of the other truck when I traded it.
Its now in the back of the chevy ;D

Hey Maco...that's a GREAT lookin' truck...heard lots of good reviews on that 6 litre motor...torque curve is nearly flat all the way across the rpm range...should be a real towin' macheen!...sorry you didn't have good luck w/your Ford...mine's been flawless... ;D...

Your reflection in the tailgate shows up pretty good...been "puttin' on" a little there lately?... ;) :)...

Oh and uh, thanks for puttin' a little "bounce" in our lives!!... ;D...
