Old School for sale 1986 V20

SOLD. it was a good run (17 years) but on to something newer.


This boat was purchased from a long time member of this group in 2007.

1985 V-20 converted to an Armstrong bracket with 1999 Johnson Ocean Pro 115 hp. We have had a good 17 years with this boat but bought something newer so she has to go. Asking $3800 obo. Located in Mystic, CT

VRO fuel pump replaced last summer with OEM part. New steering system this spring. Has a newer Garmin GPS and NMEA network with fuel flow sensor.

Certainly has its share of blemishes etc. fuel system has been losing prime when it sits for several days but runs fine after primed and started. Trailer is not registered so can only provide bill of sale.

I can provide recent video of the boat running on the water.

If you are on this site you know the V-20 is renowned for its deep V and nice ride.

What?was asking $12900 and he took $5000 that’s crazy. From what I remember that was a nice looking boat. I know he wanted it gone but how come I never run into deals like that. Someone got a great deal. I know there bargaining point is. She is old,so is the Mona Lisa and I don’t seethe. dropping her price. Like we all said.I hope she went to a great home .

Step there is an 84 V20 about 20 minutes south of me with a 92/93 Evinrude for sale. Boat , motor & trailer asking $5,000. I haven't stopped to inspect it but it looks really nice from the road. If you or anyone here is interested I can get pics. Dave
