I have roller trailers, BUT My next door neighbor uses the plastic/nylon slides on his trailer. Swears by them. Says boat is much easier to launch and retrieve then when he had carpet, plus there's no moldy smell from the wet carpet.

Wow Pipe, you dug up some great names from the past. Lotta OG s on that page.

I use old political signs on my bunks. Very slippery when wet, got a little cushion, last forever and cheap.

Plus u can pick who u want to run over for the next four years

S.S staples. And I would lay the wood on saw horses. , measure 3 times,make sure you have enough overhang on the ends to fold and staple away. Than you would have to drill holes on the bottom to mount it. A extra hand will help and ofcoufse coffee.try to use all stainless if you can or galvanized.
