It's amazing to review this thread and see how many outright lies were promulgated about Trump's words and actions by his detractors. But look how many YEARS it took snopes to acknowlege this whopper:
 Biden told it again just recently. Of course, no one in the media will ask him to comment on it. And two of Trump's most vociferous detractors will be "moderating" the upcoming "debate" and controlling his microphone, so . . .

Ah, so Trump is the only one who ever claimed (incorrectly) that he didn't lose an election? Hardly.
As for someone saying, "Trump asked us to come," did he tell them to riot? No. On January 3 he said, "If you are planning to attend peaceful protests in DC on the 6th, i recommend wearing a body camera. The more video angles of that day the better." On January 6 he said, " I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard." Later he said, ""Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement. They are truly on the side of our Country. Stay peaceful!" and, ""We have to have peace. So go home. We love you. You’re very special."
