Alumacraft 16

My boss is selling his little 16' Alumacraft. He said it has a ~1983 25hp mercury tiller. Have not seen a pic of it yet. Has a transom mounted trolling motor, fish finder, and trailer. He paid $1500 and said he's gonna ask $1500. Anybody know this brand. I'm assuming the boat/trailer are as old as the motor, but like I said, no pics yet and he knows very little. It might not even be Alumacraft lol.

Heard of them, but no knowledge. Believe they are a good name in aluminum boats.

My experience with aluminum has not been good, but they were cheap Jon boats with rivets.

$1500.00 for a boat,motor and trailer? Sounds like a great deal. I have a 16 foot StarCraft abpnd it’s probably the same type. Mine has a 1984 50 hp mercury. Great boat. I have the same boat that John skinner had.
