| Fluid film?

You guys use it for rust protection? I spray a light coat on boat motor when I winterize. And on anything on trailer that looks rusty. Pulled the bed off my pickup last year and sprayed everything. Seems to stop the rust. |

I ve used it for about 10 years on various trailer axles and frames. Works for a while, when i had my 94 merc 2S, i would spray the powerhead once a year. Made a mess, but it didn t corrode Also used stuff called Linebacker. It was like cosmoline in a spray can. |

Corrosion-X, but it doesn’t seem to last very long. Also T-9 Boeshield- it apparently developed by Boeing to spray around inside airplane fuselages to prevent corrosion. It’s solventized paraffin - sprays or paints/drizzles on liquid and dries kind of sticky/waxy. It gummed up a socket wrench ratchet mechanism, but it’s great for battery terminals and electrical connections.

Electrical connections, battery terminals, dialectic grease or I heard white lithium grease works too, just a light Cote should do it. And don't forget about WD40 that's what it was made for. WD 40 and duck tape, you can fix anything And I mean ANYTHING .

I use SP-350 at work, its anti corrosive and last awhile, good stuff. Cant find fluid film around here. Buddy of mine gave me a can years ago, also very good stuff.
