Take your new bulb and a couple of pieces of fuel line down to boat. Hook up to tank and pump into a jar

If it flows ok, clamp off fuel line downstream of bulb. Then pump till ball is pressurized and see if it holds

You might be fixing a problem you don***8217;t have
