He never exhibited any particular intelligence and himself was a lying cheating conman traitor as he lied about governing from the center and working to unite the country.

It must take a malignant, narcissistic personality disorder to be that obsessed with finally becoming president after being a joke, even in the democrat party for so many years, and being so completely incompetent for that job.
