I just put an old speargun rubber through the anchor shackle, pull the anchor up and the pull the rubber up over the cleat. Snubs it up fine
 on the anchor  on the pulpit Also, if you're going to hang your anchor overboard, make sure you safety wire the clevis pin so it won't back out i watched the anchor fly off and heard & felt it hit the prop. Cost me about $400 to learn that lesson Last edited by phatdaddy; 03-30-2022 at 05:30 PM.
