Default cast nets?

Who has em, who can throw em? Who cant?
Im not very good at it. I have an 8 ft one. My friend bought my son a 4 footer. Thats easy to use and great for a 9 year old. Maybe I need to practice with that a little.

I doubled up the line on a 5 footer, I call it death from above, i cane get those mullets from way out, before they see me and swim away. I have an 8 ft bunker net that weighs about 1000 lbs, I can barely throw it, two throws and my back reminds me its still there and screwed up. Buddy of mine gave me his old 10ft bait net, I'm going to practice off my dock while watching videos, I can still only throw it 4 or 5 times before my back acts up. On smaller nets, i kinda came up wit my own style due to my back issues. I don't put the net in my mouth and I don't twist my body. Works fine on the small nets, I can throw them all day, not so much on the big ones.

My 20 year old is getting pretty good at throwing his 8 footer. I’m just ok with a 6 footer. When we get down south, we’re gonna pick up a quality 10 or 12 footer and practice, practice practice.
