I looked at reviews of Akaso EK7000 which is $79. I copied and pasted one review below. Me personally, if I were in the market I would probably get a go pro and call it a day. Check for used, or older models for better pricing if new is outside your price point.
Pros: -It’s small and light -Has a nice touch screen -Menu is straightforward. Cons: -The phone app. Easily the worst thing about it. Turns off. Cuts off. Won’t save video when it loses connection. It’s a hot mess. -Gets warm fast. Like. Hot almost. Even at a measly 1080p resolution. -Battery gauge is super misleading. Went from full to almost dead in 15 minutes. -Waterproof case feels outdated. -Regular frame case is a mess and lopsided. No dedicated mount forks. Instead you have to bolt them in and get them to line up. Not much faith in the standard frame case either. Feels like it’d pop out without much effort. -Battery door is super cheap and not hinged. Don’t lose it. “Meh” expectations: -Image quality isn’t fantastic -Image stabilization isn’t amazing (Which considering the price isn’t shocking)
