Initial long range models suggest potential for a major winter storm around Jan 20-21.
Often these do not materialize as a nearly infinite number of atmospherics cans change between now and then …. Will see what the Euro forecast model shows in coming week |

Todays forecast models have a mess of possibilities from Jan 14-20 so we will see if any materialize or not
Update not supporting big snowstorm . Not surprised as our big ones often 10 or more years apart . Last edited by bgreene; 01-11-2022 at 07:43 AM. |

Latest now around 1/16 but track may be right up 95 would mean snow to rain except inland PA etc.
Takes near perfect conditions for our biggest snowstorms in mid Atlantic: 1969 1978 1996 2009-10 |

Yup a swing and a miss for mid Atlantic snow lovers as this will be a big snowstorm from western PA up through western Maine and on up into Canada ….Quebec for example expecting 2 feet or more …..
Much of western NY State to get a solid 12”-18” snow event. |
