I have seen that in person, It really makes for a bad day!!!
When I winch up I always have truck off, in park, E brake on, and I have a wheel blocked! The block is on a rope with a "S" Hook on my fender strut. When I pull the boat out the block comes with me! This way I never have to worry if Istart slidingback a little.
