Default Bought another boat

I couldnt pass up the deal. Bayliner trophy 20 ft. has new 4 cyl engine, new trailer suspension, brakes and tires. Newer fishfinder, new canvas cover. A bunch of other stuff im forgetting. It was my friends for the last 15 or so years, he bought it off his uncle which was the original owner. So I have been around the boat for a while. We borrowed the boat 2 years ago and took it to the beach,. It had some electrical issues I fixed for him at the time.
My wife can tow the boat with her yukon xl, its a little under powered with the 5.3, but does the job. She drove the boat when we borrowed it from him and does good. She can dock it without any problems.
He told me he was going to sell it and buy a bigger boat. I told my wife and she said "ill drive to delaware tomorrow and get it". How can you argue with that? Its ready for water right now, my wellcraft needs a lot of work and probably an outboard. Its not really what I want but the family can go enjoy it. And maybe catch fish? $4500 is what he wanted for it.

Sounds like you got a good deal. Those Salmon won't wait for you to fix your boat, so getting a "spare" is probably a smart move.
