That oil was in storage to be used in an emergency like a war. That's why it's called the "Strategic Reserve". There's nothing strategic about how 50 million barrels were just squandered.

Oh, and 50 million barrels is only a 2 and a half day supply for the United States at our present level of consumption. So exactly HOW would it have helped anyone?

Fact #676: U.S. Refiners Produce about 19 Gallons of Gasoline from a Barrel of Oil. A standard U.S. barrel contains 42 gallons of crude oil which yields about 44 gallons of petroleum products. The additional 2 gallons of petroleum products come from refiner gains which result in an additional 6% of product.

I’ve checked your so called facts several times and found you wrong each time .
Such as the time you tried to claim popularity rating was based on general population till I fight you and you had to walk it back with “ oh Um gee wiz i meant among independents “
