No, my first link was to respond to your whining about why we can't have it like Canada, to show you that, believe it or don't, Canada actually has mail-in voting.

The second link was to refute the "ballots in cars" meme so you wouldn't have to worry so much about ballots being unsecured in a place where they could be tampered with to the benefit of Democrats.

I had hoped to ease your mind a bit about your debilitating loss last November, but in no way did I ever think I could change it. That would be a Herculean task, far beyond the abilities of a mortal human.

In other news, on the threads that are not so contentious, looks like the bite's on, on the East Coast. Those of us in the Inland West are putting our boats up for the winter, snow is right around the corner, low was 27° this AM. It'll be April before we can scratch the itch again.

Obviously, you missed my point about the Canadian elections. Yes, they have mail in ballots, but only under special circumstances using special ballots. The normal way to vote is manually, in person, showing a valid ID. I'm sorry if my response was too oblique for you to understand.

The second link, as I pointed out, was an opinion piece. The person that had the ballots in his car claimed in it that it never happened, despite several other people claiming that it did. It's obvious that the accused person would automatically disavow the veracity of the accusation. However, without submitting any proof to substantiate his claim the article must therefore be considered nothing more than an opinion piece.

To put your mind at ease, the elections were far from an debilitating loss. Personally, I tend to view them as a wake up call to all of our citizens. Proof positive that the Democrat party is the party of Socialism, lies, misinformation, outright thievery and the weaponizing of various branches of the Federal Government against the very citizens that they are sworn to protect. I believe that the results of the election, as they are playing out right now around the Country, are proof positive of that belief. I might add that the results of the election last Tuesday only strengthens that belief. The citizens of this Country have had enough and it is my fervent hope that 2022 will sweep the Demo-crap party from power.

It is also my hope that this explanation of my position will stop your whining, (although I did enjoy your final paragraph about the fishing). Indeed, the bite is on, but I fear is won't last for long. The temp is in the 60's right now, but it's predicted to fall into the 50's and below by the end of the week.
