The number you gave was 052714. 52 is usually the reference number and 714 is the style number. The part number i come up with is. 1183834. This is on the 4300SS

Either way the guys were telling me eBay may be your best shot. One guy said he thought he might have a screw knob, but i told him it was the quick disconnect one. If u could look at a schematic and confirm i am looking at the right number, ill keep looking for u Also might try looking for a complete spool assy. 1183836 Sorry charlie, didn***8217;t mean to hijack your thread |

Shimano calcuttas are very good for salt water and I have a few shimano spinning reels that are great too they are cheaper then buying cheaper reels cause they last for a very long time forever actually I own a bunch of reels but the shimano are the best. Charli dig into your pocket and dig some of that money you have stashed away no get one, you won't be sorry.

Update: sent my boy’s conflictII 3000 for service again. I included a note describing my delight with the Chinese Penns. They contacted me asking if I wanted to swap it out for a different, cheaper model. I asked if we could swap it out with the pricier model and I’d cover the difference. Well, the kid decided he wanted a shimano stradic 3000. Ok. I’m gonna get me a slammer IV 5500.

I must be a glutton for punishment. My spinfisher V 7500 has about an hour, hour and a half of fishing time and it’s already acting up. Unfortunately it sat brand new in the box for about 3 years before we spooled it up and let it go. Way out of warranty, but I’m learning a valuable lesson. Maybe not, since I’m willing to try another of these high priced Chinese pieces of sh!t. I guess we’ll wait and see what happens.
