Yes I think trim tabs would be a great idea. But even without them I love this boat with the 225 on there it’s superb and I’m not dogging it either but it just runs so good on there. Gets up out of the hole easily but it’s not ridiculous or anything it’s perfect. And I’m just cruising along 4000-4500 rpm and it’s nice knowing I have power in reserve of need be. But top speed is not my concern I really want to make this motor last it’s 2006 with only 159 hours and I can’t afford to replace it. I’m just a blue collar HVAC mechanic I put this boat together on a $7500 budget and It’s gotta be worth twice that based off what I’m seeing **** sell for now. So I’m gonna appreciate this thing and take care of it
