Default Deck paint?

I want to paint my deck cause I have spider cracks plus it needs to be painted. What would you use for deck paint that's easy to use?

I'm sure it has its place but overall I'm not a big fan of deck paint. I prefer stain/sealer. The reason is because paint tends to start to flake off after a while. The other thing is once you paint it the first time you can't go back to stain/sealer. I've had good luck with sikkens cetol products.

Agree with Blue, once you paint a deck, your always going to have a deck to paint. I should know, I painted mine about 15-20 years ago and usually do it about every 4 years. Needs it now.

First time I used Petit topside one part, not very good results
Next time, a Rusteoulem 2 part, decent results
Last time , Glidden Porch Enamel, cheap and good results

Next time, I m thinking of Total Boat 1 part Deck paint

Good thing about doing the deck of the V20 is you can pull the fish box cover and fuel tank cover. Set them on sawhorses and work them at a comfortable level. Then you can use the tank and the fishbox as a place to paint the rest of the deck from

I did my Grady's decks in Kiwi Grip in 2011 and still looks great today
I was skeptical on it's durability as its latex based. The only downfall is it can stain mainly from petroleum based things .You can touch it up later also. I had one small stain in 10 yrs. I bought it in white, brought it down to the paint store with a hatch and they tinted it perfect.
Its big in the sailing community

I've posted it many times but I'll remind everyone that U-Pol Raptor truck bed liner (like Rhinoliner) is also a great way to paint, seal cracks, add non skid and have a soft surface for bare feet, all at the same time. And it lasts forever. And you can tint it to any color you want.

HEY DESTROYER ........Question sir - V21 deck features an indentation line around where the fuel tank is underneath.....

I'm aware you cut out most entire deck on yours, but since the sizing same, did you notice if that rectangular groove on the deck is sized to allow tank removal within the borders of the indentation ?

Did you also notice if the hull stringer set up easily allows for larger tank to fit ?
If I ever wanted to replace the tank in my V21 would be very useful to know .
