Hey Guys,
I married into a florist family and my wife and I have a flower shop. She is a professional florist and I am the driver/handyman/IT dept/lacky.
Just passing on something I have learned over the years...Guys are idiots!
Please read the following public service announcement.

2021 Valentine’s PSA

So here is my public service announcement for guys this 2021 Valentine’s week. It’s Monday night and you haven’t ordered flowers yet. Why? They won’t get any cheaper and it will not get easier if you wait. DO NOT use internet order gatherers that are not really a florist. Find a LOCAL Florist with an actual shop near you. Order on their website or Call them or walk in and place an order. Don’t try to be a florist. Don’t think. The florists know what they are doing. Don’t ask for sunflowers and gardenias or a dish garden… Its Valentine’s Day! Don’t be that guy! For your “significant other”, order a dozen red roses arranged in a vase. NO! Don’t get wrapped roses. Get them arranged by a florist in a vase and they will look like they were arranged by a florist…and they will last because they are in water. It’s just that easy.
If a dozen roses are not suitable to you then tell the florist your price range and they will have something beautiful in that price range. Don’t try to be a florist. Don’t be that guy.
Order for delivery on a day when someone will be home. (Its 20 degrees outside). If you try to order online at 2am on Sunday they will not get delivered Sunday. Get them delivered on Friday and she’ll have them on Sunday morning instead of wondering if she’s going to get them. Or order now and pay ahead for easy pickup on Sat/Sun. If you have not heard, there is Covid out there. Waiting until Sunday to stand in a desperate line is not an option.
If you want roses that are not red you should order them yesterday…

Ha, she's a florist so you don't have to get her flowers. That's awesome. My wife and I have always felt flowers were nice, but for the money we'd both rather get "her" something that lasts longer....I mean you know...like a rod n reel or something

Radar for your I meant her auto pilot? Is it her birthday too? Lucky girl all I'm getting my wife is maguires boat wax and 3 dozen micro fiber towels. And maybe just maybe bleach for my deck I mean our deck , and of course a brush but that goes without saying.

You guys are horrible. You should be ashamed. It's clear that those things are for yourself. Now me, I'm getting my wife chocolates. Those new chocolate flavored lures are supposed to be dynomite.
