Use marine grade only. Automotive grade fuel line is much smaller in diameter than marine grade because it doesn't have the extra outer layer, and it can collapse under vacuum.

Use marine rated A1 fuel line for below deck, B1 can be used above deck. I avoid anything that has a liner, sooner or later it separates from the inside of the fuel line. take a short piece, cut it lengthwise and see if it has a liner. The grey stuff varies greatly due the manufacture. Some of it will kink real easy, most of it has the internal liner. Its hard to beat the heavy black fuel line.
