Living in Florida, not real familiar with winterizing. All I would add is that after running fuel out, i would squirt some 2 stroke oil in each cylinder and turn the engine over a few times by hand. Also drain the carb bowls and blow a little air in the to dry them out, then squirt a small shot of WD40 in each one and replace the drain plug.

That s what I do to my generators between hurricane seasons. Sometimes i can go 4-5 years between cranking.

Maybe that s what fogging oil does, never used it
