Default Remodel cc

Hello everyone. I just got a 1985 v20 Fisherman
Over all the boat is in good shape it just needs some strong love it appears to have been left in the weather uncovered for years. So I guess my first question I have is when I get ready to do the fiberglass (it is only cosmetic) and paint should split the haul also which gel coat should I use

Welcome to the site Adam!

It appears we have been lax in welcoming you and answering your questions.

I did the welcome, I will leave it to guys with better knowledge to answer.

Welcome, Adam. Happy to have you aboard. A lot of times these old hulls will clean up really nice without having to repaint, especially if there's no damage. That said, I did do a repaint many years ago and used awlgrip. You can see the progression in my gallery.

Good luck with her and keep us posted on your progress. We love pics.

Hi Adam. Welcome aboard. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones. You got your hands on one of the best hulls ever made. They continue to get admiring looks from people to this day. Congratulations.

Just wash her and go fishing.
